Die M-Scan Gruppe, bestehend aus vier Laboratorien in UK, der Schweiz, Deutschland und den USA, wurde 1979 gegründet.
Die Kernkompetenz von M-Scan ist die Durchführung von komplexen chemischen Analysen, sowie wissenschaftliche Beratung mit dem Schwerpunkt Massenspektrometrie.
M-Scan ist in der Anwendung moderner massenspektroskopischer Methoden weltweit führend und löst analytische Fragestellungen in den verschiedensten Anwendungsbereichen. Dazu zählen vor allem die Charakterisieung von Biopolymeren (Proteine, Kohlenhydrate, Oligosaccharide), sowie instrumentelle Analytik in den Bereichen Öl/Petrochemie, Forensik, Umweltschutz und chemische Industrie.

We seek a qualified biochemist/chemist with a background in the biopharmaceutical analysis services provided by M-Scan. Training will be provided but ideally the successful applicant will have laboratory expertise in one or more of the techniques used by M-Scan for the analysis of biopolymers.

Senior Scientist
This position would be suitable for a Senior Scientist (PhD level) with good experience in Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry and Peptide/Protein Chemistry.
Experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage: 4000 Q-TRAP instrument and working in a GLP/GMP environment.
The position will involve the successful applicant working on his or her own initiative and interacting with current and potential international clients. Fluent spoken and written English is required.
